ample is an all-sample project for the months i am away from my instruments. this isn't an 'album'-- it isn't finished and nothing is polished. i add a new track two or three times a month.

samples are from v0 mp3s and tend to be hastily tuned. many of them are EQed, pitch-shifted, gated, stuttered, slowed down, &c. into oblivion. but many of them aren't. i'm interested in the power of context and the limits of intellectual property.

every single artist sampled is listed, even if his/her/their sample is processed beyond recognition in the track in which it appears.
